If an employee you manage moves to a different position in the organization and you want the new manager to have access to the employee’s plan, your CompetencyCore Administrator will first need to assign the employee to the new position and remove them from their current position.
Click Development or Performance in the main menu. Point to the plan gear icon and choose Assign Participants (this can also be done while viewing the plan onscreen). Select the new manager and click Save. If you no longer need to access the employee’s plan, you would select the new manager and deselect yourself from the plan before clicking Save.
When the subject of an open plan is assigned to a new position, the existing plan manager remains assigned to the plan until that manager assigns the new manager and unassigns themselves. But a closed plan can only be viewed by the originally assigned subject and manager.
