Step 1. Go to plans
Click the menu icon on the top left of your screen and click Development or Performance. If there are more options listed below Development or Performance in the menu, choose Plans.
Step 2. Click create
Click the Create Plan button on the top right of the page.
Step 3. Select properties
Enter a title and select a plan type. Select the job you're creating the plan for and select the cycle to use.
Step 4. Select an assessment or plan (optional)
Choosing an assessment offers you the competencies for development to include as goals. Choosing a plan offers you the incomplete goals to include as goals. Contact your CompetencyCore administrator if you aren't sure which one to select. Click Next.
Step 5. Add goals
Select the goals you want to include in the plan and click Next. The Manage Goals page opens.
Step 6. Create new goals
Point to the gear icon on the top right of the page and choose Create Goal. Select the goal type and click Next.
Step 7. Enter goal details
Enter the goal title and select a goal group to put it in. Select a target for the goal. Add any additional information, scroll to the bottom of the window, and click Save. The goal now appears in the Goals table on the underlying page. Click Next.
Step 8. Set due dates
Click the calendar icon beside each stage to set a due date.
Step 9. Confirm cycle defaults
Turn on the switch for each participant group in the cycle stage where you want to give them access to the plan. Click Confirm.
