Plans are made up of goals that are often related to competencies so that employees can improve their performance. You can easily create a development or performance plan from a completed assessment where you're the assigned subject. The plan bases the goals on the gaps between the targets and the ratings of the assessment.
Step 1. Go to assessments
Click the menu icon on the top left of your screen. Expand Assessments and click My Assessments.
Step 2. Choose create plan
Click 'Assessments where I am the subject'. Point to a completed assessment gear icon and choose Create Development Plan or Create Performance Plan.
Step 3. Select properties
Enter a name for the plan. Select a plan type and a cycle and click Next.
Step 4. Add goals
For each goal, select a goal group and a goal type. Click Next.
Step 5. Set permissions
Turn on the switch to allow participants to access the plan in each stage. Click Confirm.
Step 6. Add extra goals
To add goals that aren't based on the assessment results, scroll to the Goals table. Point to the gear icon and choose Add Job Competencies as Goals or Create Goal to create a goal from scratch. You can associate a goal you create to a competency if the goal is based on a goal type that has the Attach Library Items property selected.
