Attachments are files you can upload to jobs, interview guides, or plans. Attachments can be viewed, downloaded, or deleted when you view the item in CompetencyCore, but they aren't included in PDF or Word interview guides and plans.
Step 1. Go to an item
Navigate to the job, interview guide, or plan you want to attach a file to. Edit a job profile or interview guide or choose to view a plan.
Step 2. Select upload attachment
- For jobs: View a job and click the more details icon . Click the pencil icon to switch to edit mode. Click the plus icon to upload an attachment.
- For interview guides: Edit an interview guide from the Manage Guides page. Scroll to the Attachments table and click the Upload attachment link.
- For plans: Open a plan and click the Upload attachment link.
Step 3. Select a file
Click Choose File and select a file no larger than 5 MB in the file browser. Click Upload.
Step 4. Go to attachments
Click your profile picture on the top right of your screen and select Attachments. You’ll see all of the files attached to items in your site in one place.
Step 5. View and manage files
You can see the file name, the services where it’s attached, the type, size, and the date it was added. You can also view, download, and delete attachments from this page.
To prevent users from attaching files, turn off the Manage My Attachments permission in the Personal Permissions category on their security profile.
