Step 1. Go to new dispatch
Click the menu icon on the top left of your screen. Click the expand icon beside Development or Performance in the main menu and choose New Dispatch.
Step 2. Select the properties
Select the Plans service. Select Development Plan or Performance Plan as the dispatch type and click Next.
Step 3. Select a template
Click the expand icon in the index to open a group and select a job. Select a template. You can point to the gear icon and choose View in PDF to preview the template. Then click Next.
Step 4. Select subjects
Select the subject of the plan (users associated to positions associated to the job are listed). Click the Select users link and select a filter in the first drop-down. Select the users you want to assign to the plan. Click the close icon .
Step 5. Select a cycle
Select the cycle to use on the plan and click Next.
Step 6. Select managers
Select the manager (the users that the selected subjects report to are already selected as managers. Every dispatch needs to have at least one subject and one manager). To select a manager that not's associated to the subject, click the Select users link. Select a filter in the first drop-down, select the users you want to assign to the plan, and click the close icon . Click Next.
Step 7. Edit dispatch messages
Click the pencil icon to edit a dispatch message. The changes you make only apply to this dispatch, not to the email itself when it's used again in another dispatch.
Step 8. Set a send date and due date
Select Dispatch Now or click the calendar icon to select a send date. You can also click a calendar icon to select a due date.
Step 9. Modify cycle defaults
Turn on the switch for each participant group in the cycle stage where you want to give them access to the plan. Click Confirm.
Step 10. Click finish dispatch
Click the Finish Dispatch button. If you selected Dispatch Now, your assessment will be sent to the users you selected as subjects and managers. If you selected a send date, click Unsent Dispatches in the main menu and you'll see your dispatch listed in the Scheduled for Dispatch table.
