Create levels such as "Entry Level" or "Executive" to structure the jobs on your site from junior to senior. This builds a hierarchy that's separate from the reporting hierarchy of positions in your organization.
Step 1. Go to administration
Click the gear icon on the top right of your screen to go to Administration.
Step 2. Open job levels
Click the expand icon beside Architecture in the Administration menu and choose Job Levels.
Step 3. Enable job levels
Turn on the Enabled switch on the top right of the page to start using job levels. Disabling won't remove any content. Once they're re-enabled, the levels you've created and jobs you've associated will re-appear on your site.
Step 4. Add levels
Click the plus icon on the top right of the table to add a new level. Enter a name and insert the level before or after another level. Click the Add button. Repeat this step to continue adding as many levels as your organization needs.
Step 5. Edit levels
Click a level name to edit it. If your site uses multiple languages, click the multilingual icon beside the level name to enter translations.
Step 5. Order levels
Levels are numbered automatically. The first level is labeled Junior and the last level is labeled Senior. Levels are not just a flat list; their order matters. They progress from most junior to most senior. To adjust this list, point to the 3-dot icon on the top right of the table.
- Reverse display order: This does not affect the the order of levels from junior to senior. This changes the display of levels, which can be sorted in ascending or descending order.
- Reverse level order: The labels in the first column are reversed so you can make Level 1 the most junior or the most senior job level.
Step 6. Go to manage jobs
Click the home icon on the top left of the screen. Click Jobs in the main menu. Click the 3-dot icon on the top right of the page and choose Manage Jobs.
Step 7. Assign a level to jobs
Select the jobs to assign a level to. Click the Actions button and choose Assign Level. Select a level in the drop-down and click Save. You can only assign one level to each job.
