Follow the steps in the import account notifications article before importing to automatically send imported users an email including their username and a link to set a password.
Step 1. Download the spreadsheet
Scroll to the bottom of this page and click user_import.xlsx to download the Excel spreadsheet. If you're viewing this help article in CompetencyCore, click the expand icon to open this page in the help center so you can download the spreadsheet. Open the spreadsheet and click the Enable Editing button.
Step 2. Fill in user info
The required fields are username, first name, last name, and email address. Fill in these fields for each user you want to add. Other fields, such as hire date and team, are optional. Hire dates should use this format: 01-January-2017. Entering a name in the team column automatically creates the team in CompetencyCore.
Step 3. Save the spreadsheet
Save the Excel spreadsheet as an XML Data file.
Step 4. Go to administration
Click the gear icon on the top right of your screen to go to Administration.
Step 5. Open the users page
Click the expand icon beside Organization in the Administration menu and choose Users.
Step 6. Click import users
Click the Add Users button on the top right of the page and select Import Users.
Step 7. Select the file
Click Choose File to select the file you saved and then click Import.
