Step 1. Go to the item bank
Click the menu icon on the top left of your screen and click Item Bank.
Step 2. Open a group
Select the group where you stored the item in the index.
Step 3. Click the item
Click the name of the item to open it on the Item Canvas page.
Step 4. Open properties
Click the Properties button on the top right of the page.
Step 5. Select question
Check that the Type selected is Question (not General or Stimulus) and change the type if needed.
Step 6. Select a competency or knowledge area
Select the Competency or Knowledge Area library type. Then select an item in the Link to... drop-down.
Step 7. Select a level
For competencies, select a level. The level summaries are listed beside the level numbers in the drop-down. The level's behavioural indicators are listed so you can check that this level matches up with your question.
Step 8. Click save
Click Save. Now that your question is linked, the responses will provide more detailed information about your employees or job candidates.
