When employers post a job on your job board, they'll have three types to choose from. Their post can be free, premium, or elite. Premium and Elite are sponsored types the employer pays for. You can customize what these sponsored types are called, how long they're posted for, and how much they cost.
In this article, you'll learn more about:
1 Go to Products
Click your name on the top right of your screen and choose Administration. Expand eCommerce in the Administration menu and choose Product Administration. You'll see a table listing the post types on your site.
2 Customize a post type
Point to a job post type gear icon and choose Edit.
Change the name and the description.
Enter a new unit cost (in Canadian dollars). The tax on a sponsored post type reflects an employer's company location. You can change the price of the two sponsored post types, but you can't make the free post type sponsored. Even if you edit the unit cost, jobs posted using that post type won't be featured in the search results.
Enter the number of days the job is posted before it expires.
Leave the status Enabled and the product type set to Job Post. Click Save.
3 Remove a post type
If you only want employers to be able to post free jobs, or you just want one and not two sponsored post types, you can remove a post type by disabling it. This hides the post type from employers, but you can always reenable it if you ever want to make it available to employers again.
To disable a post type, point to a post type gear icon on the Manage Products page and choose Disable. Or, if you're still on the Edit Product page where you made changes in step 2, you can select Disabled in the Status drop-down and click Save.
Disable instead of deleting a post type because deleting permanently removes it from your job board and you can't create new post types.
