The dashboard is the first thing you'll see once you're logged in. The dashboard is set up by your administrator. It might have widgets like the Weather, My Tasks, and a Blog or Twitter feed. Use it to see information about your site at a glance and to keep track of activities.

1 Dashboard appearance
If your homepage looks like this screenshot, your site doesn't use a dashboard (skip this article).
If your site uses a dashboard, it'll look something like this.
2 Customizing my dashboard
Depending on how much flexibility your administrator allows, you can make customizations. These customizations only affect your own dashboard, not anyone else's.
- To resize a widget, click the bottom right corner and drag it.
- To move a widget, click the header area and drag it to where you want it to go.
- To remove your changes, point to the 3-dot icon and click Reset Dashboard.
- To remove a widget, point to the header area and click the remove icon .
Your administrator can update your dashboard. They can also reset it so all of your customizations are lost. You'll see a message on the dashboard if this happens.
3 Adding widgets
To add a widget, click the Add Widgets button on the top right (if it's available). Here are some of the widgets you might be able to add:
Add more than one to see the weather in several cities. To set up this widget, enter the name of a city, select a country in the drop-down, and choose Metric (°C) or Imperial (°F) units.
See a count of open and overdue activities followed by a count of each type of open activity. Click a number to open the My Activities page pre-filtered to display open activities of that type.
As you complete your profile, your qualifications are matched to jobs. The top five job matches appear in this widget. Click the expand icon to see the percentage match of each library type.
If your site has the Assessment module and you have access to reports, use this widget to pin an assessment report you've saved to your dashboard. You can add more than one report.
