To create new learning resource types such as courses, first create a custom form that specifies the resource type details. In learning resources, categories are used as containers for resource types. Resource types are where you specify a custom form. Learning resources themselves are copies of that custom form all stored on the resource type.
Step 1. Go to manage resources
Click the menu icon on the top left of your screen. Click the expand icon beside Learning Resources in the main menu and choose Manage Resources.
Step 2. Open a category
Resources types are stored in categories. Select a category in the index, or click the Create Category button, enter a name and description, and click Save.
Step 3. Click create
Back on the Manage Resources page with a category selected, scroll to the Resource Types table on the bottom of the page. Point to the gear icon and choose Create Resource Type.
Step 4. Enter details
Enter a name and description.
Step 5. Select a custom form
Select the custom form for this resource type and click Save.
Step 6. Add learning resources

Step 8. Associate competencies

Step 10. Select levels
Select a level for each competency you added. If you want the learning resource to be assigned to users whose assessment results place them in level 1 or level 2, select both levels, not just level 2.
