An inventory in CompetencyCore is a list of your competencies and proficiency levels. This means that if you need to fill a position, you can easily search for users who have the competencies required for the job.
Step 1. Go to user matches
Click the menu icon on the top left of your screen. Click the expand icon beside Inventory in the main menu and choose User Matches.
Step 2. Expand a group
Click the expand icon to open a group in the index and view the jobs inside it.
Step 3. Select a job
Select a job in the index and review the users that appear in the search results:
- Matches: number of competencies where the user has met or exceeded the proficiency level.
- Gaps: number of competencies where the user doesn't meet the proficiency level.
- Qualification: overall score that helps you evaluate and compare the users.
Step 4. Filter your search
Scroll to the Filter by Library Item table and select the requirement and level for each competency.
Step 5. Review the updated results
Click the Search button and review the updated search results.
